چکیده
This paper presents a 3D reconstruction method without calibration. The reconstruction is affine and based on line correspondences between three images delivered by a camera observing a scene under translation.

Uncalibrated 1D projective camera and 3D affine reconstruction of lines
We describe a linear algorithm to recover 3D affine shape/motion from line correspondences over three views with uncalibrated affine cameras. The key idea is the introduction of a one-dimensional projective camera. This converts the 3D affine reconstruction of “lines” into 2D projective reconstruction of “points”. Using the full tensorial representation of three uncalibrated 1D views, we prove ...
متن کاملA Fully Projective Error Model for Visual Reconstruction
Measurement uncertainty is a recurrent concern in visual reconstruction. Image formation and 3D structure recovery are essentially projective processes that do not quite fit into the classical framework of affine least squares, so intrinsically projective error models must be developed. This paper describes initial theoretical work on a fully projective generalization of affine least squares. T...
متن کاملImplicit Scene Reconstruction from Probability Density Functions
A technique is presented for representing linear features as probability density functions in 2D or 3D affine space. Two chief advantages of this approach are (1) a unified representation and algebra for manipulating points, lines, and planes, and (2) seamless incorporation of uncertainty information. Applications to Euclidean and non-metric scene reconstruction are presented, with results on i...
متن کاملZoom-Invariant Tracking using Points and Lines in Affine Views - An Application of the Affine Multifocal Tensors
This paper describes methods for tracking using point and line features in affine views to provide fundamental invariance to changes of focal length. It first demonstrates how an earlier method of transfer-based tracking using spatio-temporal matching of point features in a stereo active head is indeed zoom-invariant. In order to also make use of lines the paper then illustrates how the affine ...

A technique is presented for representing linear features as probability density functions in two or three dimensions. Three chief advantages of this approach are (1) a unified representation and algebra for manipulating points, lines, and planes, (2) seamless incorporation of uncertainty information, and (3) a very simple recursive solution for maximum likelihood shape estimation. Applications...
